Day 22, GIFT #22 – Give gifts through prayer! Ask God for wisdom and understanding

 Pray for those you care about

“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,  and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.” (Col. 1:9-12)

Wisdom and understanding

Ask God to fill them with the knowledge of His will

In all spiritual wisdom and understanding resulting in them walking in a manner worthy of the Lord:

• pleasing him in all respects
• bearing fruit in every good work
• increasing in the knowledge of God
• strengthened with all power according to his glorious might
• attaining all steadfastness and patience
• joyously giving thanks to the Father

“Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.” (Prov. 4:6-7)

“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” (Eph. 1:17)
