He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses

I am taking a few days to share healing verses, one each day, to help you build up your faith for healing. The Bible says, “Faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God.” (Rom. 10:17). You may need healing for yourself or for someone else. There are many faith-building examples of healing in the Bible. Here’s one for today.

"When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.'” (Matt. 8:16-17)
