Be rooted and established in LOVE

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:16-19 NIV)

LOVE must be sincere

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” (Rom. 12:9 NIV)

Without LOVE you are nothing

“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.” (1 Cor. 13:2 NIV)

As Jesus has loved you, LOVE each other

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”  (John 15:12 NIV)

As Christ loved the church, husbands LOVE your wives

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.” (Eph. 5:25 NIV)
