When you are weak, you are strong!
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 49:29 NIV)
A Paradox
A paradox is a statement that seems to contradict itself yet is true. One paradox found in the Bible is about “weakness” and “strength”, we as Christians can be at our strongest during times of apparent weakness. This fact seems erroneous and contradictory to unbelievers, yet, when we turn things over to God in prayer, our lives are strengthened and refreshed.
Therefore....
“Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” (2 Cor. 12:10 NKJV)
God has chosen the weak things!
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” (2 Cor. 1:27 KJV)
