You can overflow with a powerful kind of hope!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Rom. 15:13 NIV)

We have a different kind of hope

A Biblical definition of hope is far superior to that of the world’s definition of wishing or hoping for something to happen. A believer knows for sure that their hope is solid, concrete evidence because it is grounded in the Word of God. And, we know that God cannot lie (Heb 6:18; Num 23:19). The Christian has a hope that is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Heb 11:1). It is a hope that is like faith, which cannot be moved by circumstances or by what the eyes see, because our God is faithful to His Word and you can have a solid hope in it!
