Don’t get depressed!

Anxiety in the heart causes depression

“Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad" (NKJV).” (Prov. 12:25 NKJV)

Don’t be anxious about anything!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:6-7 ESV)

God will give you strength

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matt. 11:28 ESV)

God saves the crushed in spirit

“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalms 34:17-18 ESV)

He is your shield and the lifter of your head

“But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” (Psalm 3:3 ESV)
