God provides insight

“Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.” (2 Tim. 2:7)

The Lord gives wisdom, knowledge and understanding 

“For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Prov. 2:6)

God opens the mind to understand the Scriptures

“Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:45-47)

Therefore…

“For if you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding; If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will discern the fear of the LORD And discover the knowledge of God.” (Prov. 2:3-5)
