Jesus and the Father are one
“I and the Father are one." (John 10:30)
Jesus is the exact representation of the Father
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.” (Heb. 1:3 NIV)
Jesus came from the Father
“I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father." (John 16:28)
Jesus does what He sees the Father doing
“Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” (John 5:19)
Jesus came to do the will of the Father
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” (John 6.38)
Therefore…
“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.” (John 15:10)
