WE HAVE A BETTER COVENANT BECAUSE in the old, the law was written in stone tablets while in the new covenant, the law is written in people’s hearts

“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (Jer. 31:33 NASB)

• The old covenant is for Israelites only while the new covenant is for all men

Old: “What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him? And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today?”

 New: “In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” (Luke 22:20 NIV)
