Part 5 – Personalizing the promises of God
All the promises of God are “yes and amen” (2 Cor 1:20)
I possess all grace, abounding grace, all-sufficient grace. I confess, "God makes all grace abound to me.”
"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.” (2 Cor. 9:8 NASB)
I possess freedom from transgressions. I confess, “My sins are removed from me by God as far as the east is from the west.”
"As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm.103:12 NASB)
I possess continual guidance from the Lord. I confess, "The Lord shall guide me continually."
“And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.” (Isa. 58:11 NASB)
I possess freedom from fear. I confess, “God upholds me with His right hand and will help me.”
“For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’" (Isa. 41:13 NASB)
I possess the peace of God. I confess that I have the peace of God through Christ Jesus my Lord.
"The peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus our Lord" (Phil. 4:7 KJV)
