When doing good

“Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.” (Psalm 37:3 ESV)

Jesus went about doing good

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38 ESV)

Don’t grow weary in doing good 

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Gal. 6.9 ESV)

“As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.” ( 2 Thess. 3:13 ESV) 

Let your light shine with your  good works

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16 ESV)

Do good to everyone

“So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Gal. 6:10 ESV)

Therefore…

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Eph. 2:10 ESV)

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (Heb. 13:16 ESV)

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Col. 3:17 ESV)
