When you need to be healed

“Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” (Jer. 17:14 NIV)   

 He is the Lord who heals

“He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.” (Exo. 15:26 NIV)

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD" (Jer. 30:17 NIV) 

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.” (Psalm 103:2-4 ESV)

 By his wounds you are healed

 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Pet. 2:24 ESV) 

If you are sick…

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” (James 5.14-15 NIV)

Therefore…

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” (James 5:16 ESV)

“My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.” (Prov. 4:20-22 ESV)

“Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you…” (Exo. 23:25 NIV)
