When fighting worldly battles

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Eph. 6:12 ESV) 

God fights for you

“… ‘for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’” (Deut. 20:4)

God equips you with strength for the battle

“For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me.” (Psalm 18:39 ESV)

Fight the good fight of faith

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Tim. 6:12)

Therefore…

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.” (Psalm 138:7)
