When understanding
“Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.” (2 Tim. 2:7 ESV)
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom and understanding
“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Trust in the Lord and not your own understanding

God’s Words imparts light and understanding
The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130 ESV)
God’s understanding has no limit
“Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” (Psalm 147:5 NIV)
Seek understanding like searching for hidden treasure
“Making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” (Prov. 2:2-5 ESV)
“The purpose in a man's heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.” (Prov. 20:25 ESV)
“For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Prov. 2:6)
Understanding will guard you
“Discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you, delivering you from the way of evil…” (Prov. 2:11-12 ESV)
“And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’” (Job 28:28 ESV)
