God shall supply your every need

Today’s Promise to Memorize*

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. ” (Phil. 4:19 NKJV)

I really love this wonderful promise and I  meditate on it and recite it a lot for needs of every description.  It’s the promise that covers every need large or small. I love that it says God will supply every need “according to His riches in glory” and not according to anything here on earth, such as according to the prime lending rate, for instance. His standard is totally limitless! And it’s supplied “by Christ Jesus”. Now that’s something to greatly rejoice about!

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” (Matt 6:25-26 ESV)

“That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:16-19 EDV)

A Reminder

*Over the next few days I am posting Bible promises every believer MUST know (and commit to memory) to be fully equipped no matter what faced with. Meditate on them and memorize them.

Proven ways to help memorize:

1.     Hand write it on 3x5 card.

2.     Always include the Bible reference at the beginning and repeat it again at the end.

3.     Read it through several times and think about what it means (mediate on it).

4.     Say it out loud a few times.

5.     Refer to it throughout the day and say it to yourself (a few words at a time if necessary) until you can say it correctly without looking.
