Hope in the LORD

“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isa. 40:31)

According to the above passage, those who place their Hope in the LORD will experience many wonderful benefits: they will have renewed strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, and they will walk and not be faint. Why is this so?

Hope is a powerful part of faith

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Heb. 11:1)

Therefore

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Rom. 15:13)
