Day 20 GIFT #20 – Give gifts through prayer! Ask God for the gift of strength

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.” (Eph. 3:16-17)

You can give gifts to others by praying for them

You can ask God for some specific “gifts” for them.  “If you ... know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7:11 NIV)

The gift of strength

Today, Ask God to grant others you care about strength through his Spirit in their inner selves so that Christ might dwell in their hearts through faith. (Ephesians 3:16-17)

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29)

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31)
