When exalting Jesus
“He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior,” (Acts 5:31)
Exalt: to raise in rank, honor, power, character, quality; to elevate.
God highly exalted Jesus
“He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.” (Eph. 4:10)
“But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.” (Heb. 2:9)
“which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,” (Eph. 1:20)
“who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to Him.” (1 Peter 3:22)
Therefore…
Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10 ESV)
“Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified.” (Acts 2:36)
“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 2:9-11 ESV)
“saying with a loud voice,“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” (Rev. 5:12)
