When considering God’s timing

“For my words will certainly be fulfilled at the proper time.” (Luke 1:20 NLT)

 God has a time for every matter

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:” (Eccles. 3:1 ESV)

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. “ (Eccles. 3:11 ESV)

“For there is a time and a way for everything, although man's trouble lies heavy on him.” (Eccles. 8:6 ESV)

 God is not slow, but patient toward you 

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9 ESV)

Therefore…

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Gal. 6:9 ESV)

“But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” (Micah 7:7 ESV)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Prov. 3:5-6 ESV)

 And finally…

“He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.” (Acts 1:7 ESV)
