Names of God
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1)
God has many names and titles in the Bible. Each one tells us something important about Him—His character and how He relates to us. And how we must relate to Him. Here is another one of His many Names, which is Creator.
Creator — gives life to all things
“You alone are the LORD. You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all things, and the host of heaven worships You.” (Neh. 9:6)
“Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.” (John 1:3)
“He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.” (John 1:10)
Therefore
“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” (Col. 1:16 NIV)
